IAEA is a professional organization for art educators, individuals and groups who wish to support art education in Illinois. Founded in 1935, IAEA promotes quality art education for children and adults. Professional development is offered through the annual conference, mini-conferences, publications (including the newsletter, the Mosaic), and exhibits. The IAEA provides leadership for the advancement of excellence in art, in our culture, economy, and education of our children.

The Zhou B. Art Center

Founded in 2004 by the internationally acclaimed Zhou Brothers with a mission to promote and facilitate a cultural dialogue by organizing contemporary art exhibitions and programs of international scope. They provide galleries, studio spaces, and a collaborative environment to a community of talented artists, with a focus to nurture the creativity and growth of its nearly 50 resident artists. The Center is also home to some of the most thought-provoking and cutting edge exhibitions in the city

School of the Art Institute of Chicago

The Bridgeport Art Center

Located in the former Spiegel Catalog Warehouse, the BAC is home to many artists’ studios, designers, professional people and a gallery. Established in 2001, they continually seeks out new ways to serve as a resource for creative minds as an inspiring place for artisans by offering different facilities, including special event venue and a gallery space, raw industrial work space suitable for woodworking, metal design, light manufacturing, assembly, distribution and office spaces.

Arts Alliance Illinois

Founded in 1982, by a small group of artists and arts administrators to combat the threatened elimination of state funding for the arts in Illinois, the Alliance has become the largest statewide arts advocacy network in the country. Through research, collaboration with policymakers and public agencies, and communications, the Alliance advances widespread support of all the arts and cultural sector, by fostering a climate in which the broadest spectrum of artistic expression can flourish.

Sergio Gomez, MFA, is an Artist, Curator, Gallery Owner, Creative Entrepreneur, and Art NXT Level Co-Founder, which is an organization that supports artists through the joys, struggles and frustrations of experience during their art careers. We help artists strive for 3 things: Recognition, Exposure and Sales. Sergio is also the owner & director of 33 Contemporary Gallery, and director of exhibitions at the Zhou B. Art Center.
